The Life of Mr. Donell Maurice Berry began on March 21, 1961, in Baltimore, Maryland, to Phillip Leon Berry and Joyce Evelyn Bell.
Donell served his country in the United States Air Force from July 22, 1983, to January 3, 1986.
Donell found immense joy in spending time with family and friends, where his presence always added an extra layer of warmth and laughter. He enjoyed listening to music, fishing, football, and barbequing for his family. His favorite team was the Baltimore Raven. He could often be seen enjoying a cold one every day.
Donell was united in marriage to Marcia Lee and was blessed with two children, Donell and Donelle.
Donell led an active and fulfilling life for the Love of his family and friends. His legacy is priceless and will live on forever. Donell is preceded in death by his parents and his son, Donell.
We find solace in remembering the fond memories we shared with Donell and knowing that he is in the presence of his Lord and Savior. His legacy of sixty-three years will live on through all those whose lives he touched. Donell’s fun-loving and caring personality brightened every room he entered, and his kind heart will be deeply missed by all those that knew and loved him. Donell leaves in God’s hands to cherish his memories are his daughter, Donelle Berry and her daughter, Saniya Houston, one brother, Phillip Berry of Baltimore; one sister, Sharon Berry of Baltimore, and host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

Donell Maurice Berry, 63, of Austin, passed away Saturday morning, June 15, 2024. A Home-Going Celebration will be held at Elgin Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 3rd at 11:00 AM. Entombment will follow at Central Texas State Veteran Cemetery at 2:00 PM with Military Honors.
