Donald Ray Gibson, 55, painter of Elgin, passed away peacefully Friday evening, August 3, 2012. He is survived by wife, Zelma. The family will receive guests at the Elgin Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday, August 9th. A HomeGoing celebration will be conducted at Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church at 1:00 PM Friday, August 10th with the Reverend, Roy L. Sephus officiating. Interment will follow at Elgin Latin Cemetery.
