He was the first born to Raymond Vega Rangel and Elena Reyna Rangel in Elgin, Texas on October 23, 1956. To his immediate family he was affectionately known as Loli, however, all his friends knew him as Bear. He took care of his family by starting work before he graduated high school and remained loyal with the same company 39till he left us. He was a dedicated, loving, nurturing son who knew his role in the family and never walked away from it. Out of all the siblings, he was the most athletic and unbeatable at the sport of basketball. He loved to see his nephew play baseball or take his nieces shopping, and never missed an invitation to eat out with his family. It was his nature to simply put his family first: attending all our family events, never laying around the house, but was either doing yard work at mother and dads house or helping his brothers with any projects, and could always be reached and depended upon when needed.
