Darlene O'Pela

Darlene Wild O39Pela, 59, of Elgin passed away peacefully early Sunday morning, March 18, 2012. She was born in Queens, NY on January 30, 1953 to Paul Wild and Ruth Cameron Wild. Darlene enjoyed spending her time gardening, raising all types of animals, including cats, dogs, horses, and even a wounded deer she rescued, brought to good health and ultimately kept as a special pet. Darlene spent her career as a selfemployed house keeper for several families in the Central Texas area. During her time off, she would love to travel to the beach and enjoyed her time in the sun and water.
