Our beloved Damian passed away on February 19th, 2021. Although his sweet life was cut short, the memories he left behind will live in our hearts forever. In 25 short years, he made an impact to all those who knew him. Let us first remember Damian by his beautiful smile and laugh. Let us also remember his wild curly hair that matched his bubbly personality. Damian’s presence brought joy to everyone who knew him. He was known and will always be remembered for many things… LOVING, SELFLESS, LIFE OF THE PARTY, HARD WORKING, FUN, ADVENTUROUS, SILLY, STUBBORN, SPONTANIOUS AND MANY OTHER POSITIVE THINGS. Damian loved his family. His mom Ericka was his world. Even though he was young, he was a great caregiver to his siblings and very protective of them. Some would say he was an “old soul.” Damian loved his friends and made time for everyone. He loved life and undoubtedly lived his life to the fullest. He enjoyed making new friends and keeping relationships with the old ones. He loved bringing people together. Damian put others first. He was a light while he was here, and he will continue to shine light on us while he is away.
The family wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many prayers, expressions of love, concern, and kindness shown to them during this time of sadness.
His Life was a blessing, his memory a TREASURE. He is so loved beyond words and MISSED beyond measure.
You brought joy, happiness and laughter to all who met you; you will be sorely missed by everyone.”
“When a person becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure.”
“The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched – they must be felt with the heart.”
Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God and trust in me. There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? And when I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me so that you will always be where I am. ~John 14:1-3
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed. ~Psalm 34:18
