Cynthia Reagan

April 16, 1944 — March 29, 2015

Cynthia Ann Davidson Reagan of Giddings, Texas went to be with her Lord and savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, March 29, 2015. She died peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Cindy was born April 16, 1944 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Bill and Helen Davidson. After surviving childhood polio at age five, her family settled in Midland, Texas where she was raised and educated. Cindy was a key punch operator for many years and was later employed at First National Bank of Midland. A talented seamstress, she would often sew for her three children whom she single handedly raised. Later in life she enjoyed knitting scarves, establishing quite a lucrative business where she continued to sell scarves even in her final days. Loved by all, she was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Serbin, taking great pleasure in participating with the activities of the Lutheran Womens Missionary League. Cindy is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Helen Davidson, her sister, Sharon Zubicek, and brother, Michael Alan Davidson. She is survived by her husband, John C. Reagan of Giddings, Texas; two sons, Russell Huff and wife Nada of Grand Saline, Texas, John Reagan and wife Kari of Paige; four daughters, Debbie Barnett of Plano, Texas., Dana D. Vega of Carthage, Texas., Carol Ann Sander and husband, Dennis of Giddings, Texas., and Christina Fridenberg and husband, Ronnie of Giddings, Texas; 20 beloved grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made in Cindy"s honor to St. Paul Lutheran Church of Serbin, Texas.The family will receive guest at the Elgin Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 31st from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Serbin on Thursday, April 2nd at 10:00 AM with Pastor John E. Schmidt officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
