Clifton Jones Life StoryTo everything is a Season and a time to every purpose under the heaven Ecclesiastes 3:1 A Time To Be BornA bouncing baby boy came into this world on October 15, 1958 in Elgin, Texas to the union of Rayshell and Raybell Jones and they named him Clifton Jones. He attended Booker T. Washington High School and graduated from Elgin High School.A Time To PlantAt an early age he was baptized at St. Paul Baptist Church. Later in life he united with the Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church serving faithful until his death. On February 6, 1987 he united in holy matrimony to Leisa Williams. Their union was blessed with two girls, Tracey and Jalesa. On August 7, 2010 he united in holy matrimony to Donna Houston.A Time to Work PlayClifton worked at Travis State School for twelve years as a medical assistant. He also worked for Dr. Mason and Dr. Sidney White dentist office for thirteen years. He later worked for Austin State Hospital for twenty years until his health failed. When he was not spending time with his family, Clifton enjoyed fishing, cooking, going to the race track, playing scratch offs and most of all challenging his friends.A Time To DieClifton went to spend his eternal life with our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ on Saturday evening, May 24, 2014, at home with his family and friends at his bedside. Clifton is preceded in death by his grandparents Willie Mae Hargrow Jones and Monroe Jones. A Time To WeepClifton leaves in Gods hands to cherish his memories: his wife, Donna Jones his two daughters, Tracy Jones James Ross and Jalesa Jones a granddaughter, Laila Jones his parents, Rayshell and Raybell Jones his three sisters: Iree Jones, Betty Jones and Sharon Mays Brian his two brothers, Charles and Sherman Jones the mother of his children, Leisa Jones along with a host of inlaws, nieces and nephews, and a multitude of friends
