Christopher Antoine Hill was born on March 27, 1987, to the late Bobby Jackson, and Tina Marie Hill-Dove, in Austin, Texas. Christopher received his education through the Austin Independent School District. Christopher accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior a few years ago at Victory Fellowship Ministries, but rededicated himself to the Lord in June 2019. Chris loved God, and His Son Jesus Christ. He knew the value of salvation, and he knew the price that Jesus paid on the cross for his sins. He made it known to all who would listen that God is not only real, but He’s an awesome God, and Jesus Christ is the way to eternal life. He was not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.
Chris was a true momma’s boy, and he loved and cherished her deeply. He knew that no matter what he did he could always count on God and his momma to love him unconditionally.
Geno Dove, Chris’s “Pop,” was a key factor in his life. Geno loved Chris and Chris loved Geno. Chris knew that he could depend on his Pops whenever he needed him; the two shared a special bond.
Chris loved fishing, culinary school and of course, being the family comedian. If Chris was present, there was never a dull moment. He enjoyed making everyone laugh. He made certain that his family, especially his nieces and nephews knew that he loved them, and that they were special. When it came to hoorah, Chris was the best. His Pawpaw (Milton Hill) was on the receiving end of the hoorah many times, just for being a Dallas Cowboy fan.
Chris had a special place in his heart and a solid bond with his siblings (aka, Train Station Boys). Whatever they were going through in life, he was definitely his brother’s keeper. He was there to listen, give advice, love and support.
As the gates of Heaven open, Chris will join his father, Bobby Jackson, two grandmothers, two great- grandmothers, two aunts, Andrea Kay Hill and Renita Jackson and two uncles, Brent and Trent Jackson. His journey on this earth ended on July 19, 2019.
Chris leaves to cherish his memory his loving and caring parents, Geno and Tina Dove; four brothers, Christopher Dove (Isela) of Austin, TX; Bobby Hill (Sheri) of Manor, TX; Jeremy Jackson of Austin, TX, and Frank Wyatt, Jr., of San Antonio, TX; one sister, Tameka Dove of Dallas, TX; Grandfather, Milton D. Hill (Jennifer) of Hutto, TX; three aunts, Glenda Price of Austin, TX; Deitra Harris (Willie) of Pflugerville, TX; Miltonia Hill of Hutto, TX; twelve nieces; three nephews; one great-nephew, and a host of other relatives including aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He also leaves his best friend, Qioneal Davis.
A Home Going Celebration will be conducted at the Cottonwood Baptist Church of Del Valle, under the auspices of Victory Fellowship Ministries of Austin, on Saturday, August 3rd at 2:00 PM with the Reverend Milton Hill presiding. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Austin.
