Christine Scott

May 21, 1944 — May 13, 2017

Genevieve Christine Scott, passed away peacefully, early Saturday morning, May 13, 2017. Christine was born in Austin, Texas, the third of five children to Woodrow David Anderson and Genevieve Signe Anderson on May 21, 1944. She grew up and attended schools in Manor and graduated in 1962. Manor was always home for Christine. In 1964, she was blessed with her only daughter, Nona Marie. In 1989, she fell in love and married Carl Scott, who celebrated 28 years of marriage until her passing. With the new marriage, Christine became a mother again with Carl’s daughter, Audra. Christine worked hard her whole life and would dedicate over 20 years to the Austin Board of Realtors. After her retirement, she dedicated her life to spending time with her family and her church family. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and took great pride in her role as the family’s center point.

She is preceded in death by both her parents; her sister, Naomi Kelley and her brother-in-law, Kenneth Klaus.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 28 years, Carl Scott; her daughter, Nona and her husband Kern Kaufman; her step-daughter, Audra Westbrook; her five grandchildren, Justin Kaufman, Ashley and her husband Tommy Brade, Kristen and her husband Daniel Titus, Evelyn Westbrook, and Vivienne Westbrook; three great-grandchildren, Emiry Brade, Noah and Abbey Nededog. She will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.
