Charles Fretwell, Sr.

Charles James Fretwell, Sr., was born in Taylor, Texas to Obie and Minnie Fretwell on Friday, October 19, 1934. He went to his final resting place on April 21, 2018.

Charles is proceeded in death by his wife of 37 years, Audrey and his grandson Eric.

He leaves behind two sons, Chuck and Kristine Fretwell of Pleasanton, Texas and Thomas and Annette Fretwell of Round Rock, Texas; one daughter, Cynthia Mitchell of St. Louis, Missouri; five grandchildren, Jessica, Shelby, Justine, Cash, and Kadi; six great grandchildren, Spencer, Liza. Wyatt, Audrey, Oliver and Sawyer. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to say a special thanks to Jeanette Gifford, who helped and supported the family through the care of Mr. Fretwell.
The family will receive guests at the Elgin Funeral Home, Tuesday, April 23rd from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, with a funeral service officiated by Pastor Joel Densman at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Capital Parks Memorial Hill Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas.
