Charles "Bink" Hilding Anderson, 83, passed away Tuesday morning, August 18, 2015. Charles was the youngest born to Bertha Bengtson and John S. Anderson on the family farm outside Manor, Texas on November 17, 1931. Charles grew up on the farm and attended Manor schools. After graduating High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Army. When Charles returned home, he took back up his passion working on the family farm with his dad. On July 25, 1957, he married Dorothy Hebbe and together they had three sons and one daughter, Charles, Clinton, Catherine, and Alvin. Charles worked hard all his life. Along with his fulltime career as a facility maintenance technician at the Travis State School, he always worked the farm, even into his retirement. Charles was preceded in death by both his parents; his wife, Dorothy; his daughter, Catherine Albers; sister, Olga Kotrola; and brother, Alton. Charles is survived by his three sons, Charles Anderson and wife, Teresa, Clinton Anderson, and Alvin Anderson and wife, Carren; seven grandchildren; and sister, Lucille and husband, Leslie Pearce; son-in-law, James Albers; and dear friend, Billie Irene Milburn.The family will receive guests at St. John"s Lutheran Church of Richland from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 25th. A Funeral Service will be conducted at St. John"s Lutheran Church at 2:00 PM with the Reverend, Hans Lillejord officiating. Interment will follow at the St. John"s Lutheran Church Cemetery, 17701 Cameron Road, Pflugerville, Texas 78660.
