Birthella Roberson

July 31, 1969 — March 15, 2023

Austin, Texas

Birthella Renae Roberson , “known as Renae”, was born on July 31, 1969, to the late Milton Roberson, and Vernell Thomas Roberson. in Austin, Texas. She grew up on the Southside of Elgin, attending the Texas public schools, beginning at Elgin Primary, then Reagan High School in Austin. Renae was well known and took care of all her nieces and nephews.

Renae grew up with a strong Christian foundation and godly parents. She was inspired by the words of the Bible and acknowledged Jesus Christ as her Savior at an early age and was Baptized at Winn’s Memorial Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Williams. Later in life Renae decided to change her life for good. She was baptized at Freedom Home Baptist Church in Austin Tx under the authority of Pastor Oscar B Howard.  As she grew in life and wisdom, Renae moved her membership to Morning Glory Church of God In Christ with the leadership of Superintendent Fredrick Patterson, serving as a missionary until her death.

On June 6, 1997, God allowed Renae to give birth to a healthy ,loving, caring, daughter, Kaydrian Roberson. Kaydrian was the only child, which Renae loved to spoil rotten and dress with bows and bourettes.

Renae was very sweet and down to earth. She loved family, she loved her friend’s, Renae loved to be a helping hand in any way that she could. Renae kept all of her nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She made sure that everyone had their best outfits on, with a face full of grease and some candy in their hand. Renae enjoyed dancing, singing, playing dominoes (especially against her father, Night Train). She enjoyed the outdoors, riding with her nieces and nephews, she enjoyed trail rides, and most importantly she loved when WE called her to ask about cooking. She enjoyed walking us through how to make a meal that only she could master. She enjoyed her brothers and sister, and nobody could mess with them without going through her.

Renae brought the best out of anyone that she spoke to. Her spirit was unmatched. She could light up the room with her smile or laugh. Either way, you knew you were loved unconditionally.

Renae was blessed with three grandchildren. She spent her days taking them to the parks, Walmart, swimming, movies, grocery stores, and church. There was nothing, no sickness, no pain, that would stop her from being the best grandmother that she could be. When her grandbabies called, she came running. She loved them as if they were her own. They knew Granny would give them anything they wanted, and they had her wrapped around their fingers. She couldn’t get a break if she wanted to. Most of all what made her feel more special as a grandma was the hugs, kisses and calls she received unexpectedly from her babies. They loved her so, much they even called her MOM, instead of Grandma.

Renae a God-fearing woman is proceeded in death by her parents, Vernell and Milton Roberson, her brother Willie Roberson, two nephews, Samuel and De’Amante and a niece, Christina, and aunts and uncles.

Renae’s legacy will be cherished by her daughter Kaydrian Roberson (James Farris),her  grandchildren Kayden Roberson, James Farris Jr, Saniyah Farris, her unborn grandchild Kaylynn Farris, her brothers and sister Michael Reese (Andriea), Milton Roberson, Sr., Kirby Roberson (La Barbera), Kaylan Burse (S.M.), and Bobby Roberson Sr., her aunts and uncles, and a multitude of nieces, nephews and cousins covering three and four generations, her special friend Paul Mayberry for over 20 years. Last but least, the Morning Glory Church of God in Christ Church family.
