Beverylon Kay Aldridge was called to her Heavenly Home on Sunday, July 28, 2024. Beverylon was born on April 14, 1962, in Austin; she was the beloved daughter of Moses Aldridge Jr. and Ella Mae Gaines.
Beverylon’s life was a testament to love and resilience, rooted in a strong Christian foundation. Her unwavering faith in the Lord was a guiding light in her life, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Beverylon was a graduate of Austin ISD.
Beverylon cherished her family deeply, and their love for her and their unique bond was equally profound.
Beverylon’s earthly journey ended at the age of sixty-two, leaving a void that can never be filled. Her passing was preceded by the loss of her cherished son, Edward ‘Eddie’ Nora, and her parents, Moses Aldridge Jr. and Ella Mae Gaines. Her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her.
After seeing her generations grow, Beverylon’s loving memories will linger in the hearts of her beloved common-law husband, Gary Williams, her cherished daughter, Valonda Nora, and her treasured grandchildren: Jayonte D’Amoni, Quavon Selmon, Jade Marie Selmon, Daijah Aldridge, Jadashaun Harrell, Christopher Lamont Young, and Anneta; her supporting siblings Carol E. Aldridge, Duane Aldridge and his wife, Rosie, Patrick Aldridge and wife, Wendy, and Stacey Aldridge; her Aunts and Uncles, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will carry her memory in their hearts.
Beverylon will lie in state at Elgin Funeral Home, Friday, August 9th, from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM. A Home-Going Celebration will be conducted at the Providence District Association Tabernacle of Cedar Creek, Saturday, August 10th at 10:00 AM. The interment will be at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
