Benita Suarez

Benita G. Suarez was born on June 2, 1929 to Zenon Gomez and Santos Luna Gomez in Hebbronville, TX. Benita went home to be with the Lord on September 26, 2018.

Benita loved spending time with her family and her best friends Consuelo Briseno and Nelly Reyes, playing bingo, working in her yard with her flowers, cutting grass, shopping, going out to eat and taking care of her brother, Florentino.

She is preceded in death and going home to be with both her parents Zenon and Santos Gomez, Jose P. Suarez (husband), Meleton Gomez (brother), Manuel Gomez (brother), Florentino Gomez (brother) , Angelita G. Rodriguez (sister), Loren Leroy Hostetler, Jr. (grandson) and KeyAndre Davis (great grandson).

Left to cherish her memory are sons: Jose G. Suarez, Jr. (Irene), Luis Suarez (Yolanda), Alfredo Suarez, Adam Suarez (Angie) and daughters: Juanita S. Briseno (Gilbert), Maria S. Hostetler (Loren), Benita Suarez (Juan) and 19 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

The family would like to say a special thank you to our family friend, Richard Ferrales for all the love and support that he provided to us on her final days. As well as to Georgia, Sheree, Violet and Jessica who cared for our mother with the other staff at the Bastrop Lost Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Along with Melanie, Laura, Sara and the rest of the medical staff of the Resolutions Hospice for their great care.
