Arthur Dean Haywood, 75, retired U.S. Air Force mechanic of Austin, formerly of Elgin, passed away Thursday morning, June 8, 2017. The family will receive guests at the Elgin Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 20th from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A Home Going Celebration will be conducted at Pleasant Bethany Baptist Church of Elgin on Wednesday, June 21st at 11:00 AM with Reverend Claudell Monroe orating the eulogy. Interment with Full Military Honors will follow at Sayers Cemetery.
