Arthur Arnold

Arthur Earl Arnold passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 82, on November 29, 2011. Born in Fort Worth, Texas to John Earl Arnold and Rosanna Virginia Jones, Arthur he grew up around the Dallas area, graduated High School in Carrollton, TX and played football for Texas AM for two years. He joined the United States Marine Corps. in 1947, to serve his country and support his family. Arthur honorably served his country, spending over twenty years in military, which involved wartime tours of duty in both Korea and Viet Nam. Following his U.S. Marine Corps. service from 1947 until 1956, Arthur continued his active duty service with the U.S. Air Force, until retiring in 1969, with his wife and two children at Travis Air Force Base, California. After a long career with the military, he began working for the Southern Pacific Railroad for another twenty years finally retiring in 1989.
