Ana Rodriguez Vazquez

Ana Maria Rodriguez Vazquez, 40, of Hutto, formerly of Elgin, gained her Wings, surrounded by her loving family, Saturday evening, August 6, 2022.  Ana was born to Joann Rodriguez and Ramon Rodriguez.  She graduated from Phoenix High School of Elgin with the Class of 2001.  On December 18, 2002, she met the love of her life, Juan Vazquez and together they raised a family of five children.  Ana was the biggest fan at her children’s sporting events.  She made sure to celebrate her children’s birthdays with parties and treat, even showing up at school with an arm full of gifts and treats for everyone.  She loved her vacations on the beach every summer and the memories they created.  Ana was literally the life of the party; her wild sense of humor ensured everyone had all eyes and ears on her and would bring a smile to all the faces she met.

Ana was reunited in heaven by her two aunts, Maria Luisa Torres and Estella Ledon; and her grandfather Gilbert Rodriguez, Sr.

Ana’s spirit lives on with her beloved husband, Juan Vazquez; mother, Joann Rodriguez and husband Luis Retana; father, Ramon Rodriguez; her five precious children, Jaslyne, Aryana, Ayden, Anisty and Jayliana Vazquez; three sisters, Alicia Rodriguez and husband Jose Diaz, Lori Rodriguez, Sylvia Ann Rodriguez and her husband Ivan Rodriguez; five nieces, Chelly Jaimes, Jasella Rodriguez, Julissa Rodriguez, Alayanah Jaimes, Ayvianah Marie; four nephews, Ralphie Jaimes, Aj Jaimes, Royce Roland and Roman Jaimes; grandmother, Martha Ledon; and aunt, Debra Rodriguez and husband David Rodriguez.  She will always be loved and missed greatly.

Family will receive guests at Elgin Funeral Home, Wednesday, August 10th from 4:00 PM until 5:00 PM.  The Holy Rosary will be recited at Elgin Funeral Home, Thursday, August 11th at 9:00 AM with a Celebration of Christian Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Elgin at 10:00 AM with Father Paul officiating.  Interment will follow at Young’s Prairie Cemetery of Elgin.
