Alex Gonzalez

Alex Gonzalez, 24, of Elgin, passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021.  Services are private.

Alex Gonzales was born and raised in Shenandoah, Iowa. He graduated from Shenandoah High School in 2015.

Alex is survived by his parents, Jeannie Smith and Jose Hinojosa of Elgin, Texas and Omar Gonzalez of Shenandoah, Iowa. His sisters, Alyssa Gonzalez and boyfriend, Rodrigo Lemus.  of Elgin, Texas Briana Hinojosa of Elgin Texas   Maria Hinojosa of Nebraska City and Denisse Hinojosa of Neb City, Nebraska. His brother, Eric Rothstein of New Jersey, his uncle and aunt, Eric Smith and Shelby Nye of Shenandoah, Iowa, his grandfather, Wesley Slemp of Shenandoah, Iowa.  Many nieces and nephews and cousins, and a lot of friends.

He proceeded in death by his grandmother, Sherry Slemp .

Alex enjoyed being with family, playing video games, he loved collecting sculptures. hanging with his dogs, Cooper, and Rosie.

Alex would help anyone that needed it. He was a caring loving boy. Always trying to make everyone laugh. He never wanted anyone to have a bad day!!!

Alex will be missed so much!!
