Adelee Almquist

September 21, 1914 — August 26, 2012

Adelee Marion Carlson Almquist passed away in her home with her daughter Marie by her side, Sunday morning, August 26, 2012 at the age of 97. She was born in the Manda Community on September 21, 1914 to Edwin Morris and Tina Marie Peterson Carlson. On March 15, 1940, she married her husband Oscar Lee Almquist, Sr. Adelee was a homemaker and worked at the Elgin Courier for many years. One of her favorite past times was making quilts for her children and grandchildren.
