Abraham Rivera Cantu, aged 27, was born on November 24, 1997, in Austin, Texas. He was called home to our heavenly father on Thursday, December 26, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter that will forever be cherished.
As the second youngest of five siblings, Abraham brought joy and laughter into the lives of those around him. A proud graduate of Manor High School in 2017, he dedicated himself to various pursuits, furthering his education at Trade School shortly thereafter. His responsible and hardworking nature was evident in everything he did, especially in his role as a devoted father to his beloved little girls.
Abraham had an infectious spirit and a playful personality. He had an incredible knack for making everyone around him smile and laugh. His love languages—acts of service, physical touch, and gift-giving—were apparent even in his early years. From a young age, he would eagerly assist his grandmother, Francisca Rivera, with chores, folding clothes, and cooking, showcasing his generous heart.
Passionate about life, Abraham loved riding his motorcycle with his younger brother, JP, and finding joy in activities like blowing steam at the shooting range. Yet, nothing filled his heart more than the time spent with his wife, family, and children. Every moment together was a precious gift he treasured deeply.
Abraham leaves behind his beloved wife, Kailey Cantu, and their beautiful daughters, Samantha Aaliyah Jae Cantu and Valorie Nichole Cantu. He is also survived by his devoted mother, Maria Isabel Rivera, and his siblings: David Victor Rivera, Maritza Lynn Lopez, Juan Pablo Rivera Puentes, and Anabel Andino.
Abraham’s memory will live on through the countless lives he touched, reminding us to embrace each day with joy, love, and laughter. He will be dearly missed, but forever remembered in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
